Theatre of Wonder is a unique festival celebrating collaboration between artists and scientists. It brings the wonders of science to the stage through the power of theatre and storytelling. Theatre of Wonder is a space where curiosity and creativity meets.
Launched in Sofia in 2021, the festival was inspired by the original Teatro della Meraviglia in Trento, Italy, with whom we have been working closely since its inception.
Our mission is to engage audiences emotionally and intellectually by presenting cutting-edge scientific topics in creative, performative formats.

The 2025 edition of Theatre of Wonder brings an expanded programme, featuring both live performances and, for the first time, a dedicated conference section.

Conference Section
For the first time Theatre of Wonder includes a conference section. The section contains presentations, performance-lectures and workshops delivered by researchers, practitioners, creators, and entrepreneurs that explore the vibrant interdisciplinary space.
